Our Policies
Appointments
While we do accept walk-ins, we highly recommend making advanced bookings to ensure you secure your desired date and time for your massage, couples massage, or treatment. To confirm your appointment, we do require a credit card number at the time of reservation. Reservations can be made either online or by giving us a call. Once you've made your reservation online, you'll receive a confirmation via email and/or telephone. Please note that a credit card is necessary to guarantee all appointments. Massage sessions will begin and end at the scheduled time. The time needed for consultation and changing is included in the session time.
Checking In
We kindly ask that you check in at the spa reception at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows ample time to fill out the intake form, engage in a brief discussion with your massage therapist about your medical history, and share your goals for the massage treatment. Arriving early also provides an opportunity to unwind and clear your mind, enhancing your overall relaxation experience. Consultation/dressing time is included in the massage session time. Sessions that begin late due to the client's late arrival will end at the scheduled time, and the client will be billed for the full time. We also require clients to be clean and showered prior to receiving their massage.
Late Arrivals
In the event that you arrive late for your session, you are still welcome to utilize the remaining time of your scheduled appointment. However, please note that due to our tightly booked schedule, we typically cannot extend the session beyond the originally appointed time. Regardless of the duration of the service provided, you will be responsible for the full payment of the scheduled service. Sessions that begin late due to the client's late arrival will end at the scheduled time, and the client will be billed for the full time.
Cancelations
You have the option to cancel or reschedule your appointment and receive a full refund, minus a processing fee, provided that you give us at least 24 hours' notice prior to your appointment. Cancellations or appointment changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service price. Failure to notify us of a cancellation or not showing up for your scheduled appointment will result in being charged the full price for the scheduled service.
Etiquette
In order to maintain the tranquil ambiance that defines the experience at our spa, we kindly request that all guests not only switch their mobile phones and electronic devices to silent mode but also make an effort to keep the volume of their voices down. By minimizing noise levels, we aim to create a peaceful environment where individuals can fully relax and immerse themselves in the therapeutic benefits of our treatments. This practice not only enhances the overall experience for our guests but also ensures that everyone can fully enjoy the serenity and tranquility of our spa setting.
Health Considerations
Guests who are pregnant or have conditions such as high blood pressure, heart issues, or any other medical concerns are required to inform our practitioners or spa receptionist. Your safety is paramount to us, and your treatment may necessitate special considerations.
In order to maintain a healthy environment, we kindly ask guests experiencing symptoms of illness, such as colds, fevers, or flu, to reschedule their appointment for a later date. It is not advisable to receive a massage during the initial or final stages of illness. Massages, which promote blood circulation, can potentially worsen the infection during its early phases. Additionally, if a massage is received after the illness has peaked, there's a risk of symptom relapse and feeling unwell again.
Inappropriate Behavior
At Luxe Thai Massage, we are committed to delivering the utmost quality in therapeutic massage. To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all our guests, we strictly enforce a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding inappropriate conduct/behavior. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, including unwarranted touching, harassment, sexual innuendo, threatening speech/behavior or disrespectful language/requests, will result in the immediate termination of the session. A session will not be conducted if the client is suspected to be or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In any such case, full payment for the scheduled service is required and authorities may be notified. We prioritize the comfort and well-being of our clients and uphold these standards to maintain the integrity of our services.
Draping Policy
Clients will be appropriately draped with a sheet and/or towel at all times during their massage. Only areas of the body that are currently being treated will be exposed. The breast and genital areas will always remain draped and are never massaged.
