Optional · Personalized · Available at No Additional Charge

Personalizing the Details of Your Massage

Every guest has different preferences regarding warmth, fragrance, massage products and topical sensations. Our complimentary enhancements provide additional ways for your therapist to personalize selected parts of the experience around your comfort.

Enhancements are optional rather than required parts of the massage. You may request an option, ask your therapist for guidance or decline all enhancements.

The options incorporated may depend on the selected massage, session length, treatment areas, therapist’s approach and whether an enhancement is appropriate for you. An enhancement may be used during only part of the session rather than throughout the entire massage.

Our Complimentary Enhancement Options

The following enhancements may be available during eligible massage sessions. Tell your therapist about your preferences and any relevant sensitivities before your massage begins.

Aromatherapy

A Gentle Sensory Addition

Aromatherapy introduces a selected fragrance into the massage environment. It can add a subtle sensory element that makes the room and overall experience feel more personalized.

Available scents can be discussed with your therapist before the session begins. The fragrance should remain a complementary part of the experience rather than overpowering the room.

Aromatherapy should be declined when you are sensitive to fragrances, essential oils or strongly scented products. Please mention respiratory sensitivities, known allergies or previous reactions before aromatherapy is used.

Hot Oil

Comfortable Warmth and Smooth Movement

Comfortably warmed massage oil may be incorporated into appropriate table-based techniques. The warmed oil provides smooth glide while adding a gentle feeling of warmth during selected portions of the massage.

The temperature should feel comfortably warm rather than excessively hot. Temperature preferences vary, so tell your therapist immediately when you would like the oil adjusted or discontinued.

Please mention known skin sensitivities or reactions to massage oils, lotions, fragrances or other topical products before the oil is applied.

Hot Lava Stones

Targeted, Comfortable Warmth

Heated basalt stones may be incorporated during selected portions of the massage. Your therapist may use the stones to introduce focused warmth while continuing to adjust the massage around your comfort.

The stones are used as an enhancement rather than as a separate full-session treatment. They may be incorporated on selected areas and may not remain in use throughout the entire appointment.

Heat tolerance differs from one guest to another. Tell your therapist whenever a stone feels too warm or when you would prefer not to have heated stones used on a particular area.

Hot Lava Stones may not be appropriate for every guest. Discuss heat sensitivity, reduced sensation, skin concerns or other relevant conditions with your therapist before they are used.

Tiger Balm

A Noticeable Cooling Sensation

Tiger Balm may be applied in a small amount to selected areas when appropriate. Its aromatic ingredients create a noticeable warming or cooling sensation that some guests enjoy during focused massage work.

Because the sensation can be stronger than a standard massage lotion or oil, your therapist should use it selectively rather than applying it broadly without discussing your preferences.

Tiger Balm should not be applied to broken, irritated or especially sensitive skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, face and other sensitive areas, and wash your hands before touching those areas after the massage.

Please disclose sensitivities or allergies involving menthol, camphor, essential oils or herbal topical products before Tiger Balm is used.

How Enhancements Are Selected

STEP 1: Discuss Your Preferences

Before your massage begins, let your therapist know which enhancements interest you and whether there are any products, scents, temperatures or sensations you prefer to avoid.

STEP 2: Consider Comfort and Suitability

Your therapist will consider the massage being performed, the areas receiving attention and the information you provide before incorporating an enhancement.

STEP 3: Adjust During the Massage

You may ask for an enhancement to be adjusted or discontinued at any time. Tell your therapist when the temperature, fragrance or topical sensation does not feel comfortable.

Included at No Additional Charge

Aromatherapy, hot oil, Hot Lava Stones and Tiger Balm are complimentary options with eligible massage sessions. There is no separate enhancement fee when an option is appropriately incorporated into your massage.

Complimentary does not mean that every enhancement will automatically be used during every appointment. Availability and suitability depend on the session, therapist, requested areas and individual guest considerations.

Certain products or options may occasionally be unavailable. Your therapist may also recommend avoiding an enhancement when it is not appropriate for the massage or the information disclosed during your consultation.

What an Enhancement Does—and Does Not—Change

Enhancements complement selected parts of the massage. They do not change the massage service you selected, guarantee that a particular technique will be performed or replace communication about pressure and focus areas.

For example, requesting Hot Lava Stones does not convert the appointment into a separate full-session stone treatment. Similarly, selecting aromatherapy does not mean that fragrance must be used continuously throughout the appointment.

Your therapist remains responsible for determining how an appropriate enhancement can fit naturally into the massage while protecting your comfort and the overall flow of the session.

Your Comfort Comes First

Every enhancement is optional. You may decline an enhancement before it is used or ask your therapist to discontinue it at any point during the session.

Before your massage begins, please disclose known allergies, fragrance sensitivities, respiratory sensitivities, skin sensitivities, heat sensitivity or previous reactions to essential oils, lotions, massage oils and topical balms.

Alternative products may sometimes be available, but accommodations cannot be guaranteed for every ingredient or sensitivity. When you are uncertain about a product or its ingredients, the safest choice is to decline that enhancement.

No. Every enhancement is optional. You may request one, discuss the available options with your therapist or decline all of them.

Can I request more than one enhancement?

Not necessarily. Availability, suitability, session flow and the information provided during your consultation may affect which enhancements are incorporated.

Are Hot Lava Stones used throughout the entire massage?

No. Heated stones may be used during selected portions of the massage rather than throughout the entire session. They are offered as an enhancement, not as a separate full-length treatment.

Can I change my mind during the massage?

What should I disclose before an enhancement is used?

Mention fragrance or respiratory sensitivity, allergies, skin concerns, heat sensitivity and previous reactions to oils, lotions, essential oils or topical products.

Tell Your Therapist What Feels Right for You

The best enhancement is one that complements your massage without distracting from your comfort. A brief conversation before the session helps your therapist understand which options you would enjoy and which should be avoided.

Continue communicating during the massage whenever you would like the temperature, fragrance, product or sensation adjusted.
